Only Freely Given Links of Value are Worth Getting.
Have you ever gotten emails from link brokers proudly offering “Domain Rank 85+ links for sale”?
- We have too.
- So has Google.
- These links are worth nothing.
Domain Rank is just a score of how many sites link to that site. Since link sellers interlink their sites, they are almost always high DR.
Buying links ensures an almost inevitable outcome: a brief rise in rankings while Google gives your links the benefit of the doubt, followed by a crash when Google decides they are worth nothing. Don’t buy links. It’s a critical business risk.
Instead? Earn them and have them freely given. Here’s how we do it.
1. Link Bait Content + Outreach
Link Bait content is entirely different from transactional content. Instead of targeting your main keywords, link bait content provides source content for journalists looking to write their own articles.
Industry statistical content works well for this kind of link-building. We research a topic closely aligned with your business and then build a page with lots of quotes, stats, and images, allowing journalists to use all of them.
More than just giving permission, we actively seek them out. LinkJuiced has built its proprietary software that will scan journalist “request for source” sites such as SourceBottle and Qwoted
How we do it
The result? A constant flow of topical links from journalists will continue to build links and rankings to your site.
Link Bait Content Examples:
Completed Projects
Gym Statistics has built more than 75 links of quality.
Starting Soon
Best Fall Detection Blog 3 Articles about elderly care and a stats article about aging. (Client sells Fall detection watches)
Stem Cell History: A Detailed chronology of stem cell medicine achievements (Client provides stem cell treatments)
2. PR Mission
Link baiting + journalist outreach is great. The initial investment is small. The links come in over time and you only pay for them as they arrive. But it’s a slow burn, not a big fast impact. When you want a lot of high-quality links fast, it’s better to do a PR Mission. This is how it works.
Example Site – Beike Cell Therapy

Getting links to a stem cell therapy site is pretty hard. Most links about stem cell therapy go to big learning hospitals that are driving the science. So, we took another tack and ran a big PR mission about mums and the value of their unpaid contribution to the economy.
After all, it’s the mothers who most often provide care to children who can benefit from this type of medical intervention, so our mission highlighted their unsung heroics in looking after the family.
The Result?

Before the PR Mission, traffic was largely stable but increased by 4x over the following 6 months. More than 100 highly respected sites, including the New York Times, were linked to the survey. We provided four funky artworks for journalists to use to make their lives easier, and they were well used.
No other link building was done in the next 6 months, but links continued to grow, partly because sites would check the quality of sites already linked to Beike and feel comfortable connecting to their other content.
Sites often check your existing backlinks before deciding whether to link to your site. If you already have quality links, they will likely link to your site. If, instead, they see a bunch of paid links? That makes getting more natural links much harder.
